• Take photos on an 'up day' - Confidence and happiness come across on a photo.
• Use mirrors to take a photo of yourself if you have no-one to take them for you, but make sure that the camera is away from your face.
• Looking slightly away from the camera usually produces a better shot.
• If you have even the smallest double chin, take the shot with the camera slightly from above.
• Smile and the world smiles with you!
• Try not to use a web cam if you can avoid it.
• Don't send an old photo.
• If you don't have a digital camera, ordinary photos can be scanned at many office and computer centers for a small charge and put onto CD.
